What is UnitySaver?

How much will I save?

Accepted Answer

You save exactly what you put in, minus a small platform fee ($5 + 1% of your total savings). For example, if you save $100/week for 10 weeks, your total is $1,000 and the platform fee is $15 — so you receive $985. No interest is charged. There's also an optional Seed Contribution you can leave to support the community, but that's completely your choice.

Is my money safe?

All payments are processed through PayPal, one of the world's most trusted payment platforms. Funds are held in a dedicated PayPal Business account managed by Andine's Place LLC exclusively for UnitySaver members.

What happens if I miss a payment?

Accepted Answer

You'll receive reminders before and after the due date. A grace period of 3 days is given. After that, late fees may apply ($10–$25). Repeated missed payments may result in suspension and forfeiture of funds per the Member Agreement.

How do I receive my savings?

At the end of the 10-week cycle, your total savings are sent to your PayPal account or bank account — your choice. Payouts are processed within 14 business days of cycle completion.

Can I quit in the middle?

We strongly encourage every member to complete the full 10-week cycle — it benefits you and your entire group. However, if you absolutely must leave early, you can. Your contributions will be refunded minus a flat $150 termination fee. This fee exists to encourage commitment, not to make a profit.

What is the termination fee and why do you charge it?

The termination fee is a flat $150, regardless of which group you're in. It is NOT a money-maker for UnitySaver. It exists purely as a deterrent to encourage members to finish their 10-week cycle. When you know there's a cost to quitting, you're more likely to push through and reach your savings goal. Think of it as a commitment guardrail — it protects you from giving up on yourself, and it protects your group from losing a member mid-cycle. If you complete all 10 weeks, you never pay this fee.

Is this legal?

Yes. UnitySaver operates as a private savings facilitation service under Andine's Place LLC. It is not a bank, credit union, or investment vehicle. No interest is charged or paid. Members voluntarily participate in a structured savings arrangement.

What are the fees?

Accepted Answer

There is a platform fee of $5 plus 1% of your total payout, deducted from your final payout. For a $100/week saver, that's $15 total for the entire 10-week cycle. PayPal also charges a small processing fee per transaction (2.99% + $0.49). There are no hidden fees — everything is disclosed upfront when you join.

What is a Seed Contribution?

After you receive your payout, you'll have the option to leave a small voluntary Seed Contribution to support the UnitySaver community and help us keep the platform running. It's 100% optional — you can choose $5, $10, $25, a custom amount, or simply skip it. Think of it as planting a seed for the next group of savers.

Can I withdraw money early in an emergency?

Yes — UnitySaver offers a one-time Midpoint Emergency Withdrawal. If you've made at least 5 consecutive on-time payments, you can apply to withdraw 50% of your savings between Week 5 and Week 6. A processing fee of $5 plus 1% of your total contributions applies. This requires admin approval and can only be used once per cycle. The remaining 50% continues in your cycle toward your final payout.

Can I delete my account?

Yes. You have the right to permanently delete your account at any time from your Profile settings. All personal data will be erased, ID documents deleted immediately, and signed agreements archived for legal compliance (7 years). If you are in an active cycle, the $150 early termination fee applies. Any remaining balance after fees will be sent to your PayPal within 14 business days.

How do I get help or support?

UnitySaver offers three support channels: live chat (powered by Tawk.to — available Mon-Fri 8am-4pm MST), email support at support@unitysaver.com (24-hour response time), and an in-app ticket system where you can track your request status. Are there rules for the group chat?

Yes. All members must follow our Community Guidelines. The key rules: be respectful and encouraging, keep messages relevant to your savings group, no solicitation or self-promotion, no financial advice, protect your privacy, and zero tolerance for harassment or discrimination. Violations follow a 3-strike system: warning, 7-day mute, then permanent removal.

Can I set up automatic payments?

Yes! Auto-Pay lets you set up automatic weekly payments through PayPal so you never miss a due date. Your payment method is charged automatically every week. You'll receive a confirmation email after each payment. You can enable or disable auto-pay anytime from your Profile settings.

Is there a referral program?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Every member gets a personal referral link. When you invite someone and they complete their first 10-week cycle, you earn Priority Placement (front of the waitlist for your next group) and a Founding Member badge on your profile. Refer 3 or more members and your $5 flat fee is waived on your next cycle. Share your link via WhatsApp, email, or copy it from your Profile page. There's no limit to how many people you can refer.
